His Name Is Not a Formula: Submit Your Life to YAHUSHA

Believers in Ephesus surrender manuscripts linked to magical practices, illustrating the public tashubah described in Acts 19.
Acts 19:18–20 records confession and costly renunciation as the Word grew and prevailed.

You can learn the words of spiritual warfare while resisting the instruction that would change your life.

You can speak firmly against darkness, then protect the dishonesty, lust, cruelty, or unforgiveness that the Word has already exposed. You can ask YAHUAH to establish order in your house while refusing His correction in the way you govern it.

That contradiction must be confronted.

The Name of YAHUSHA Ha’Mashiach deserves reverence. We call upon Him because our trust is in Him. We must also receive His rule over the life from which that cry rises.

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

— Yahuchanun (John) 14:15, KJV

Let that instruction search beneath every declaration. Where His Word has spoken clearly, have you yielded?

What Does It Mean to Act in the Name of YAHUSHA?

To act in the Name of YAHUSHA means to act under His authority, in dependence upon Him and in agreement with His teaching. His Name cannot be reduced to a phrase added to words or actions that oppose His will.

In John 14, asking in His Name appears alongside love, obedience, and the promise of the Comforter. YAHUSHA directs His followers toward a life in which the Father is honored. We should read those promises with that relationship in view.

Consider how easily we claim His approval for our own decisions. A person can finish a demand with His Name while seeking control over a spouse, revenge against an enemy, or recognition before an assembly. The wording does not make the motive righteous.

Bring the request itself under examination. Bring the conduct behind it into the light. Let the Ruach Ha’Qudash correct what your mouth has tried to authorize.

What the Sons of Sceva Exposed

Acts 19:13–16 records men attempting to invoke YAHUSHA as the One Pa’al proclaimed. Seven sons of Sceva were involved. The evil ruach answered, and the man it afflicted overpowered them. They fled wounded and exposed.

“YAHUSHA I know, and Pa’al I know; but who are ye?”

— Acts 19:15, KJV wording with names restored

They had heard a Name they sought to use. The account exposes the danger of treating His authority as something that can be taken up by imitation.

Someone else’s testimony should lead you to seek YAHUAH. It cannot become a substitute for your own surrender. Learn from faithful teachers, receive sound counsel, and welcome the palal of others. Then answer the truth yourself.

Watch the Teaching

⚠️ YAHUSHA I KNOW… BUT WHO ARE YOU? | URGENT WARNING FOR THE LAST DAYS!

This official Natsarym of YAHUSHA teaching connects the sons of Sceva with the call to surrender, tashubah, palal, and obedience.

Submit Before You Resist

“Submit yourselves therefore to YAHUAH. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

— Ya’aqub (James) 4:7, KJV wording with the Name restored

Read the whole command. Submission belongs in our understanding of resistance.

The surrounding passage confronts corrupt desires, proud hearts, and divided loyalty. Drawing near involves cleansing the hands and purifying the heart. We cannot turn that teaching into a technique while leaving its correction untouched.

What does submission look like in your home today? It may mean ending a secret conversation, confessing a deception, returning what you took, or accepting correction without punishing the person who spoke truthfully. It may require removing access to a temptation you keep preparing for yourself.

Palal should accompany those acts of obedience. Ask YAHUAH for deliverance, wisdom, strength, and help. Then take the faithful step already before you.

Do not wait for an intense spiritual experience before doing what Scripture has made plain.

Spiritual Activity Does Not Excuse Iniquity

In Matthew 7:21–23, YAHUSHA warns about people appealing to prophecy, casting out demons, and mighty works done in His Name. Their appeal does not cancel His judgment concerning their lives.

“I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

— Matthew 7:23, KJV excerpt

Let this warning reach the person who can lead a powerful gathering and still mistreat the people closest to them. Let it reach the person who knows warfare language but conceals exploitation. Public spiritual activity must never become a shield against examination.

Ask about the fruit. Does the teaching produce truthfulness, mercy, accountability, and obedience? Can correction be received? Are wrongs acknowledged and addressed?

Do not allow an impressive display to persuade you that wrongdoing no longer matters. YAHUSHA’s words require us to take both our claims and our conduct seriously.

A Divided Life Must Be Brought Into the Light

The Apocrypha witness, Wisdom of Solomon, speaks directly about the relationship between wisdom and a life given over to evil:

“For wisdom will not enter into a malicious soul, nor dwell in a body subject to sins.”

— Wisdom of Solomon 1:4, Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition

We should receive that searching witness with humility. The desire to be taught requires willingness to be corrected. A heart determined to preserve malice will resist the instruction that exposes it.

The Pseudepigrapha witness, Testament of Asher, gives a related warning:

“But do not ye, my children, wear two faces like unto them, of goodness and of wickedness…”

— Testament of Asher 3:1, excerpt from the IntraText edition

We recognize this danger when the assembly receives one version of us and our household endures another. We recognize it when our spiritual vocabulary grows while our willingness to confess grows smaller.

Bring those divided places before YAHUAH. Name the wrongdoing without dressing it in the language of warfare. A person you have harmed needs truth and changed conduct from you. Do not label their concern an attack simply because it exposes something you wanted hidden.

Tashubah Releases What Sin Taught You to Protect

Acts 19 continues beyond the failed confrontation. Believers confessed their deeds, and people who had practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them publicly. The account emphasizes the great value of what they relinquished and the growth of the Word.

Their response cost them something they once valued.

Examine what you keep preserving because it cost money, offers influence, or gives you a sense of control. Where an object or practice is bound to your participation in occult activity, renounce that participation and remove your own means of returning to it. The passage does not give you permission to destroy another person’s belongings or accuse everything unfamiliar of being evil.

Perhaps the thing you must surrender is a profitable deception. Perhaps it is a relationship sustained by concealment. Perhaps it is your authority to decide when a commandment applies to you.

Let tashubah reach that place. Stop making arrangements for a return to what you have confessed.

Keep Your Confidence in YAHUSHA

This teaching should produce honest return, not terror that one weakness makes you beyond His mercy.

A struggling person who confesses sin and seeks help must not be treated as though they are defending rebellion. Receive correction. Seek faithful support. Continue returning to YAHUAH through YAHUSHA Ha’Mashiach. Depend upon Him as He teaches you to walk differently.

Neither hardship nor an unanswered request proves that someone lacks faith or belongs to the enemy. Do not use Acts 19 to interrogate suffering people or make accusations you cannot establish.

In Luke 10:17–20, the disciples rejoiced that evil spirits were subject to them through His Name. YAHUSHA directed their deeper rejoicing toward their names being written in heaven.

Receive that direction. Do not become consumed with whether darkness recognizes your reputation. Give your life to the One you follow. Let belonging to Him govern the way you seek authority, serve others, and resist evil.

Bring the Next Decision Under His Rule

Take one area where you have asked for YAHUSHA’s power while resisting His instruction. Bring it before YAHUAH in palal without an excuse. Read the passage that addresses it. If you have harmed someone, acknowledge what you did and begin the repair within your responsibility.

Let a trustworthy, mature believer help you remain accountable where concealment has become a habit. Accountability should draw you toward truth and responsible obedience; it must not become another person’s claim to control your life.

Keep seeking YAHUAH through Scripture, palal, worship, and wise, sincere fasting. Make room for the Ruach Ha’Qudash to search your motives. Practice the obedience that your public declarations have announced.

Call upon YAHUSHA with reverence. Receive Him as Master and King. Let your life answer His instruction.

Closing Palal

YAHUAH, our Aluah, search the places where our words have run ahead of our surrender. Forgive us for seeking power while resisting correction. Expose concealed sin, divided loyalty, and the desire to use spiritual language for our own control or reputation.

Lead us into complete tashubah. Give us courage to confess, forsake what is evil, and repair the wrongs within our responsibility. Through the Ruach Ha’Qudash, teach us truth, humility, discernment, and set-apartness. Strengthen those who are struggling and sincerely seeking Your help.

Establish our confidence in You. Let our homes and conduct come under the righteous rule of YAHUSHA. Prepare us to stand faithfully and serve others with clean hands and sincere hearts, in the name and authority of YAHUSHA Ha’Mashiach, Aman,
